Just last Sunday the 7th of June, Calvary Jinja had a Ministry fair. While
most churches have whole teams of people who put them together we had our
very own Kelli O'hea working and slaving over 15 different ministry info
and sign up sheets, not to mention countless balloons. So what was the purpose?
It was to get the people in the church to doing something, getting them active. Out of the eleven ministries represented that day all of them had at least one person sign up. - Who am I? As I go through life that question at times takes on different forms. For one I am a believer in Jesus Christ, who died for me. Two, I am serving in Uganda as a missionary specifically focused on discipleship and eventually Church planting. Three I lived in Jinja up until July of 2010 and have moved to work in Karamoja. What am I doing there? Learning culture, language and strategy to reach a people group that is semi-literate and semi nomadic. Thanks for taking the time to read.
